一般说来, impatient at sth./sb. 表示“对……不耐烦”。
She was getting impatient at having to wait so long. (Wood) 她对于必须等这么长时间变得很不耐烦。
impatient with 一般接表人的名词, 表示“对某人不耐烦”:
Don't be impatient with the child. (Wood) 不要对孩子没有耐心(急躁)。
impatient about sth. 表示“为某事着急”:
Don't get impatient about a trivial thing like that. (Wood) 不要为这样的小事着急。
impatient of 表示“对……不耐烦”“不能忍受”:
Mother was impatient of bad manners. (MD) 妈妈不能忍受没有礼貌的举止。
