What is he like? 用来询问人的性格、能力、成就或给人的印象,亦可询问外表:

1. A: What's her mother like? 她母亲是什么样的人?

B: Oh, she's quite nice. 噢,她相当好。

2. A: What's the new teacher like? 新老师是什么样的人?

B: He's got a red beard and he makes stupid jokes. 他留着红胡子，开一些愚蠢的玩笑。

3. What is he like as a writer? 他作为一个作家成就如何？

4. What is the new neighbour like? 新邻居是个什么样的人？

5. What is he like? He's a tall man with a grey beard. 他是个什么样的人？他高高的个儿，留着灰白胡子。
