-
We hoped the money would arrive soon, but none was forthcoming. (MEG)
-
I wanted some more coffee but there was none left. (Eckersley)
-
None of the blame was your brother's. (Yeats)
None (of the books) been placed on the shelves. (CGEL, § 10.42)
-
[None of us are perfect. (Wilde)
-
{None of us was certain how he proposed to act. (Snow)
-
[None of my neighbours possess cats. (Denis Healey)
-

-

-
None of them are of any use to me.
-
None of them is the man I want.
-

-
None of my friends have been invited to the party. (LEG)
-
None of the letters have been opened yet. (Wood)
