(1) Neither of the boys who have been helping us know when this game is over. (TOEFL)
(2) Neither of the alternatives that had been outlined at the last meeting were acceptable to the executive committee. (《
试题(1)要求将 B 改为 knows, 试题(2)要求将 were(C)改为 was。
-
Neither of us are much good. (Mis)
-
I quite agree with you that neither are suitable for a newspaper.
-
“Did Jack and Tom understand her?” “No. ____ of them is bright.” A. Not either B. Not one C. Neither D. No one(TOEFL)
-
Neither of the young men who had applied for a position in the university ____. A. has been accepted B. have been accepted C. was accepted D. were accepted(全国四级,98.1-33)
-
Neither of them are welcome.
-
John and Mary will have to walk. Neither of them have brought their cars. (Dear)
-
Neither of my sisters are very tidy. (PEU)
-
Neither of the books are/is very interesting.
“在 none of/neither of/either of/any of + 复数名词短语之后,我们既可以使用单数动词,也可以使用复数动词。”
