从词义上说:ashamed 是指对自己或别人的言行感到“羞耻”“羞愧”。从语法上说:a-shamed 只能用作表语,而不能用作定语。因此,无论从词义上说,还是从语法上说,上句中的 ashamed 都是用错了,应改为 shy,因为 shy 是指“羞怯的”“腼腆的”“羞涩的”,既可用作表语,又可用作定语:
