concerned ¹

有些英语语法书和英汉词典(如1997年版的《考试备用英汉词典》)都强调指出be concerned about是指“关心”，而be concerned with则是指“与……有关”“与……有牵连”“涉及到”。例如：

1. We are not concerned with that matter. (Wood) 我们跟那件事无关。

2. This story is concerned with a Russian family in the 19th century. (LDCE) 这篇故事描述的是十九世纪的一个俄国家庭。

但是,实际上,be concerned with 也可以指“关心”“关怀”:

1. She is deeply concerned with our health problem. 她很关心我们的健康问题。

2. I am concerned with the reputation of my bank. We have never had a robbery. (Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code) 我只是担心银行的名声会受到损害。此前我们银行还从没遇到过抢劫事件。(《达·芬奇密码》)

还应当知道, be concerned for 也常常用于表示“关心”“关怀”, 因此, 选 C(for) 也肯定是正确的。

1. We are all concerned for [about] her safety. (ALD) 我们大家都关心她的安全。

2. A good employer should be concerned for the welfare of his workers. (Wood) 好的雇主应当关心工人们的福利。

3. You are concerned for a wooden box. (Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code) 原来你还在关心紫檀木盒子啊。(《达·芬奇密码》)
