在英语的定语从句里一般是不能省略充当主语的关系代词(who, that, which)的。但是，在口语里，强调句型和存在句型是例外的情况(参见 there is a man lives)。例如：

It isn't every boy[ ] gets the chance to go to the university. 并非是每个孩子都有机会进入大学。

当然,如果在上面的句子里补上从句的主语(who, that),则为正式语体的形式。
