从逻辑的严密性上来说,上面的句子是有毛病的。因为从逻辑角度看,any man alive 也包括
he(Haroun Tazieff)在内。因此,应将 any man alive 改为 any other man alive。类例:
Today farming employs more people than any other type of work.
目前从事农业的人比从事任何其他行业的都要多。
这个逻辑点是各类标准化考试的热点。考生应熟练掌握。
