hoped to have finished

hoped + 不定式的一般式与 hoped + 不定式的完成式意义是不同的。前者表示其动作

或状态发生或存在于谓语动词所表达的动作或状态之后，并且有可能实现：

1. I hope to be in London next month. 我希望下个月去伦敦。

2. I hope to write a book about my travels. 我希望写一本有关我旅游的书。

3. Jennie hoped to give her a good education. 珍妮希望给她良好的教育。

hoped 之后的动词不定式的完成式有时表示其动作并未实现,具有反事实意味:

1. I hoped to have seen you before now. 我本希望在此之前看到你的。

2. I hoped to have found him. 我本希望找到了他。
