许孟雄教授编著的《英语难题解答400则》在回答读者的问题时说：“in the way 与 in one's way 不同，前者指方法，方式(in the manner)……”(p.243)
难道 in the way 只能表示“方法、方式”，而不能表示“挡路”“碍事”吗？

in the way 除了表示“以……方式”之外,也能表示“挡路”“碍事”,在这个意义上,它和 in one's way 是相同的。例如:
