祈使句 + and...

请问上面两种解释是否正确？
上面两种解释都是错误的,而对句意的翻译则完全违背了原意。究其原因,是两位作者忽略了英语的一个常用句型:祈使句 + and sb. will do sth. (见 and )。例如:

在这种句型里,祈使句表达条件,and 分句表达结果。will 是构成一般将来时的助动词,而不是表达“愿望”或“可能性”的情态动词。这种句型实际上相当于条件从句 + 结果从句:If you work hard next time, you will succeed. 据此,上面的试题可以改写为:
If you take it for granted that he likes everything, he probably will like everything. 可见，在上题中，在助动词 will 之后省略了 like everything。
