shout to/at

shout to 与 shout at 的意义有很大的区别。shout to sb. 表示“大声叫某人”或“大声对某人说话”，以引起注意，无辱骂或生气的暗含意义。例如：

1. He shouted to me to come. (OSD) 他喊我过来。

2. He shouted to me and warned me of the danger. (Palmer) 他向我大喊，警告我有危险。

3. In American football, the coach may shout to the captain to call time out.

而 shout at 则表示“生气地或敌意地对……大喊大叫”，含有责备的意思。例如：

1. Don't shout at me. (OSD) 不要对我大喊大叫。

3. The children got very dirty and she shouted at them. (LEG) 孩子们弄得很脏, 她大声批评他们。

在 roar to/at, bellow to/at, mutter to/at 和 growl to/at 中, to 与 at 也存在着同样的区别。在这里 at 含有不友好的意思, 如同 laugh at 中的 at 含有不友好的意思一样。
