clauses of place(地点状语从句)

地点状语从句可由 where, wherever, anywhere, everywhere 来引导：

1. Where there is a will, there is a way. 有志者事竟成。

2. I'll go where they go. (表示方向) 我要去他们去的地方。

3. I'll stay where it is comfortable. (表示地点) 我将住在舒适的地方。

4. Where I live there are plenty of sheep. 我住的地方有许多许多羊。

5. Go wherever he tells you to go. 他叫你去哪里你就去哪里。

6. We'll go wherever you say. 你说去哪儿我们就去哪儿。

7. I'll take you anywhere you like. 你喜欢去哪里我就带你去哪里。

8. You can't camp anywhere you like these days 如今你不可以随意在你所喜欢的地方宿营。

where 与 wherever 的区别: where 表示特定的地点, 而 wherever 表示非特定的地点。wherever = to(at) any place where。请对比：

(A) They went where they could find work. 他们去了他们能够找到工作的地方。

(where 表示特定的地点)

(B) They went wherever they could find work. 他们去了任何能够找到工作的地方。

(A) He put colons where he should have put semicolons. 他在本应写分号的地方写了冒号(指特定的地方)。

(B) He put colons wherever he should have put semicolons. 凡是应当写分号的地方他都写上了冒号(指任何应写分号的地方)。
