这道试题本身是错误的。nearly在用法上有一个明显的特点，就是它不能与否定词连用。CGEL对此说得很清楚：
“Both the downtoners almost and practically can intensify all indefinite pronouns, whereas nearly can intensify only assertive pronouns. Compare:
Almost Practically } {everybody all } came. Almost Practically * Nearly } {nobody came. any time will do. no compensation was given. " (CGEL, p. 450)
（“almost 和 practically 这两个减弱语可以减弱所有的不定代词的语意，而 nearly 则只能减弱断定代词的语意。请比较：
