R.Quirk等人曾明确指出,hope,bet,see(to it)等动词后的宾语从句通常使用一般现在时来表示将来时间[见 $\mathrm{<span\; class="latin-run">h</span>}\mathrm{<span\; class="latin-run">o</span>}\mathrm{<span\; class="latin-run">p</span>}\mathrm{<span\; class="latin-run">e</span>}(\mathrm{<span\; class="latin-run">v</span>}\mathrm{.}{)}^1$hope(v.)^{1} ,see(to it)]：

I bet I win. (OSD) 我肯定会取得胜利。

但是 hope, bet, see(to it) 等动词之后的宾语从句也可以使用一般将来时：

1. I bet it will rain tomorrow. (LDCE) 明天一定会下雨。

2. I will bet that he will be elected. 我断定他会当选。

3. I bet he'll be late. 我敢说他一定会迟到。
