在带 used to 的陈述句后面,附加疑问句中一般要使用功能词 did。

1. He used to smoke, $\$left\{ \begin{array}{l} didn't he? \\ did he not? \end{array} \right. 他过去经常抽烟，是吗？

2. They $\$left\{ \begin{array}{l} usedn't \\ didn't use \\ used not \end{array} \right\} to like opera, did they? 他们过去不喜欢歌剧，是不是？

3. He used to live there, didn't he? (PES) 他过去住在那里, 是吧?

但是,有时也会发现在附加疑问句中使用 usedn't 的例子:
