在虚拟条件句中，在主句中，第一人称可以使用 would，也可以使用 should，意义没有什么区别，只是后者主要用于英国英语。其他人称也可以使用 would 和 should，但语义有所不同。前者表示“肯定”或“必然”的结果，而 should 添加“应该”“应当”的情态含义。在你所提问的句子中，should 就具有“应该”的含义。当然，从语法上说，也可以把 should 换成 would，但是却失掉了“应该”这一重要意义。
在含有虚拟条件句的主句中,除了使用 would 和 should 之外,还可以使用 could(表示能力,允许,可能性)或 might(表示可能性)。
