providing 与 provided 有何区别?

从形式上看, providing 是 provide 的现在分词, 而 provided 是 provide 的过去分词。但是, 当它们用作连词时, 这种区别就消逝了, 都作“如果”“只要”解。如果说它们之间有什么区别的话, 那就是 provided 比 providing 用得更普遍一些。
