countryside/village

countryside 是指“与城市相对而言的农村”，不是指某个具体的农村，而 village 则是指具体的村庄。注意: countryside 要带定冠词：

1. The English countryside looks at its best in spring. 英国的乡村在春天的景色最美。

2. What are the advantages of living in the countryside? 住在农村有什么优点呢?

3. The countryside needs greater protection from polluters. 农村需要进一步防止污染。

4. My sister and I live in neighbouring villages. 我姐姐和我住在相邻的两个村庄里。
