be used to/be accustomed to

从词义上看, be used to 一般用于指自然而然成为习惯, 而 be accustomed to 常常用于指通过努力而成为习惯。从语法上看 be used to 的后面只能跟名词、代词或动名词(见 used to do/be used to), 而 be accustomed to 的后面既可以跟名词、代词或动名词, 也可以跟动词不定式。也就是说, be accustomed to 中的 to, 有时用作介词, 有时用作动词不定式符号:

1. Mrs. Babbit was not accustomed to leave home during the winter. (Lewis) 巴比特太太不习惯冬天出门。

2. We are accustomed to take tea on the terrace. (CGEL) 我们习惯于在阳台上喝茶。(参见 accustomed)
