apply for, apply to 与 apply at 作“申请”解时，在用法和语义上有什么区别？
apply for的宾语在内容上应当是希望获得的事物，例如工作（job, work），职务（post, position），奖金（reward），签证（visa），工资的提高（an increase in salary），经理职位（directorship），国籍（citizenship），贷款（loan, credit），而apply to的宾语在内容上则应当是对之作出申请的个人或机构，例如秘书（secretary），经理（director），大学（university, college）。请看下面的例句：
