any more 除用作状语(见 any $^{10,12}$ ) 外, 还可用作定语。在用作定语时, more 不表示作“更多的”解, 而作“另外的”“其他的”(additional, further) 解。因此, any more 可译为“再”, not any more 可译为“不再”(参见 more $^{6}$ )。上句似可译为: 所以, 他就不再买香烟了。
