根据《新英汉辞典》的说明，penny 的复数形式有二：pennies 和 pence。但不知它们的用法和词义有无区别。
在美国英语和英国英语里，pennies都是指硬币本身（在英国指便士，在美国和加拿大指分），而并不是指金钱的数量。例如：
