我们在 come to 中已经讲过,英语里有些动词叫做静态动词或具有静态意义的动词,如 know, love, understand, like, live, stand, lie。它既没有动作的起点,也没有动作的终点。使用 get to 就能使这些动词具有动态含义。get to know 表示从“不知”到“知”的变化过程:
