certain to do/certain of doing

certain to do 与 certain of doing 在语义上有很大的差别。Manchester are certain to win. 这里的 are certain to 表达的是说话人的观点: 说话人确信、肯定。全句的意思是: 曼彻斯特队肯定会赢。而 John is certain of winning. 则是指主语(John)确信自己会赢。全句的意思是: 约翰确信会取胜。请分析下列各句中 certain to do 与 certain of doing 的意义:
