give off 与 give out 都作“发出”“放出”解,为什么试题(1)要用 gave off(D),而试题(2)要用 gave out(D)?
give off 与 give out 虽然都译作“发出”或“放出”,但它们的搭配关系是不同的。give off 的宾语通常是气体、液体、烟、雾、气味、放射线、光等等,而 give out 的宾语通常是光、声、电、热、放射线等等:
