smell ³

We don't care if a hunting dog smells ____, but we really don't want him to smell ____. A. well ... well B. bad ... bad C. well ... badly D. badly ... bad(上海高考,95-30)

  1. We smell with our nose.

  2. I've got a cold and can't smell very well.

  3. Humans can't smell as well as dogs.

  4. I've been to smell a lot better since I gave up smoking.

  1. What are you cooking? It smells delicious.

  2. I want you to check out this Clare Flower and see that she has the right to get my aunt's money, because something somewhere smells funny.
