attend 与 join 的区别在于它们后跟的词语不同。attend 后跟的宾语主要是 meeting, conference, lecture, school, ceremony(典礼)。而 join 后跟的宾语主要是表示团体、组织(如军队、党派)、一群人、游戏的名词。
