当 school, college, church, prison, sea, town 这些名词不是指实际的建筑物，而是指与它们相关联的机构时,就不能与冠词连用,例如:go to school(上学),go to church(去教堂做礼拜),out of prison(释放出狱)等等。按此说法,“去看戏”也不是指“剧院”的建筑物,是否可说 go to theatre?
