see through it/see it through

A. The committee will see it through.

B. The committee will see through it.

A. I have to get it on.

B. I have to get on it.

当 get on 作“put on”(穿上)解时,是个短语动词,即小品词 on 是可分离的:

  1. Get your coat on quickly, the taxi's waiting. (LDPV)

  2. I'm going to get my coat on.

{I’m going to get it on. (IME)\cdot \left\{ \text{I'm going to get it on. (IME)} \right.

  1. He saw the project through. (RCD)

  2. We are going to see the work through. (Freeman)

  3. Whatever happens, we'll see the struggle through. (OSD)

  4. Now that we've started the project, we'll have to see it through. (EI)

  1. Only one person at a time is allowed to get on the horse. (LDPV)

  2. I'll hold your horse while you get on. (LDCE)

  1. He's a poor liar; anyone can see through him. (LDPV)

  2. You don't fool me: I can see through your tricks! (LDPV)
